1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how it is used.

2. Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary — portal sessions. When you sign in to the owner, staff or admin portal, the site sets a short-lived session cookie (emit_token and emit_refresh) so you stay signed in and your requests are secure. These are set only when you use a portal and cannot be switched off.
  • Notice preference. When you acknowledge the cookie banner, we store that in a first-party cookie (emit_consent) so the banner does not reappear on every visit. It holds no personal data beyond your acknowledgment.
  • Meta Pixel (advertising / measurement).We use Meta's pixel (Facebook) to measure visits, understand how people use the public site, and measure and improve our ads on Meta platforms. Meta may set or read cookies and similar identifiers on your device. See Meta's data policy for details.

3. Your choices

When you first visit the site, a banner tells you about essential cookies and Meta Pixel. Choosing "Got it" records that notice in emit_consent. Meta Pixel loads on the public site as described above. This notice supports transparency under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, Egypt's Law No. 151 of 2020, and the GCC data protection laws (including Saudi Arabia's PDPL, the UAE's Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, and Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016).

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, including third-party cookies from Meta. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in to the owner, staff or admin portals.

4. Third-party cookies

Meta Pixel may involve cookies or similar technologies from Meta Platforms. Links to external services such as YouTube are opened in a new tab and are not subject to this policy once you leave our site.
